I came home to a lake full of birds tonight. Many many black ones swimming with their heads tilted up. Well over 100 cormorants dotted the water and the island. Sea Gulls were plentiful, Bonapart, Herring, and probably a couple others that were beyond my identification ability. Most welcomed were the five Common Loons that were demonstating their underwater swimming ability. Nice to see some springtime activity. Forgot to mention the Osprey that visited us several weeks back. We are located along Rt 30 just East of the Kidron Road intersection in Wayne Co.
