Saturday morning I had two Yellow-Throated Vireos chasing and singing through the woods. Also heard the first Ovenbird. Yesterday, I had Red-Eyed Vireos singing along with the Yellow-Throateds and an American Redstart. This morning, the dawn chorus was loud! There were three Ovenbirds singing in the woods and a White-Eyed Vireo and Blue-Winged Warbler in the old field joining the Prairie Warblers and Field Sparrows.I was pretty sure I could hear a Wood Thrush in the distance but there was so much "noise" it was hard to locate.Wow! What a difference one week makes. Good birding, Tracy Morman Scipio Township, Meigs Co. ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
