All, I was able to make two trips to Highbanks today. In the a.m. I did the first part of the Pet Trail (East from the Nature Center). Birding was light until I ran into a flock of Nashville Warblers ... probably around 10. Traveling with them I found a single Orange-crowned Warbler and a Tennessee Warbler. Later around 4pm I came back and took the Overlook trail to the Wetland Spur trail. Again no birds until I ran in to another flock of Nashville's. Smaller this time about 5 Nashville's. Traveling with them I also found the following: Orange-crowned Warbler Worm-eating Warbler Hooded Warbler White-eyed Vireo Seeing the Orange-crowned twice makes me think it might have been the same flock ... Not a bad day ... Information on Highbanks: http://www.metroparks.net/ParksHighbanks.aspx Thanks, Matthew J.
