Greetings all! It was a hot one out there today...but had to get out of the office for a few min! Anyway, not a whole lot of exciting news, although I did witness a couple of Cedar Waxwings which appeared to be "courting". One flew in with a small insect in its bill, perched next another, handed the insect off, then they proceeded to hop back and forth on the branch passing the insect for a few mins. Anyway, here is the list and Happy Birding ! Location: DCP - Shawnee Prairie Preserve Observation date: 5/30/07 Number of species: 19 Yellow-billed Cuckoo - Only heard this fellow.
