Hello everyone,

Some poking around the west campus area at OSU turned up a nice assortment
of migrants. The highlight among 17 species of warblers was certainly the
female GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER right near North Star Rd. This is a new
species for me at this patch.

There were also 5 species of vireo here. Unfortunately, Bell's Vireo wasn't
one of them. The earliest detection date for Bell's Vireo last year was May
8th but no such luck today. I will certainly keep everyone posted if it
shows up again this year.

Good birding.it's beautiful out there!
