Found it at the entrance of Conkle's Hollow. I can't find it in my flower books. http://new.photos.yahoo.com/kapella1/album/576460762402787268 While visiting the area, saw several black and white warblers, scarlet tanagers, cedar waxwings, red-eyed vireos (singing everywhere!), one calling tufted titmouse, crows, and a huge bird that screamed "raven" but could not have been--probably a quick glance at a black vulture or a pileated woodpecker. It was a very brief sighting while driving down the road near Conkle's Hollow, not long enough for an ID, obviously. Are there otters at Clear Creek? Hubby and I believe we may have seen one -- too big for muskrat, wrong tail for beaver. Thanks.
