The highlight of the Big Day that Levi Hochstetler, Leroy Yoder and Samuel Weaver conducted on Thursday, May 11, was 3 glossy ibises and 1 white-faced ibis observed in the wetlands along Prairie Lane south of Wooster. Levi reports that Dennis Kline and his two sons observed 3 ibises flying over the Shreve Fish Pond that same evening, and another party also reported seeing 3 ibises in the the area. Levi reports that their Big Day netted 160 species during their four-county search (Ashland, Richland, Coshocton & Wayne).
