While at Oakes Quarry Park at 8 a.m. on Sunday, June 10, I observed two adult Lark Sparrows feeding a fledgling. Other notable species included: Blue Grosbeak (male) Prairie Warbler Yellow-Breasted Chat Green Heron Brown Thrasher (singing nonstop) Ruby-Throated Hummingbird Many Field Sparrows with fledglings Oakes Quarry Park is near Fairborn (northeast of Dayton) on SR 235, just east of its intersection with I-675.
