I also had a female Black&White while doing more atlas work at Deer Creek this morning. There was no sign of a male anywhere. It was in a willow thicket with a fledgling B-h Cowbird beging for food and some Song Sparrows. I assumed that the Song Sparrows were the parasited parents, but the B&W might have been.
