This morning's radar shows some strange things. I shows a northward movement of "something" in central Ohio. The skies are quite clear and the wind is from the north, yet there appears to be a large northward movement of something this morning (8:00). It started about 7:30 in eastern Franklin & Delaware Counties (Hoover Dam area!) and moved north with the maximum reflection about 8:15. Then it spread out and disappeared in the north central Ohio area. Considering the wind direction, it was moving in the opposite direction. It could be some artifact in the weather pattern or a related to the problem with the Indianapolis radar. Has anyone in north central Ohio observed any unusual movement of ducks or anything else? (Analysis using RAP: http://www.rap.ucar.edu/weather/radar/ ) The Indianapolis radar seems to have some big problems this morning. It shows a lot of reflection, reminiscent of yesterday's storms, despite the clear skies. However, most of it is not moving. Out of curiosity, is there any meteorologist reading this who knows the explanation. You can reply personally.
