Lastweekend at mosquito wildlife area while enjoying the prothonotary and
yellow warblers, I saw a bird in a nearby field which puzzles me. It
seemed to be a fairly small flycatcher but it stayed low to the gound and
its tail feathers were fringed with white like an eastern kingbird. Can
anyone help me? On a different note I was also able to spot a b-g
gnatcatchers nest with chicks and attending parents. It was fun to watch
these tiny birds chasing blackbirds that came anywhere near.
