I've had a male Downy Woodpecker visiting my feeder for over a week now; behavior I've noticed in years gone by. I feel since we've had very little rain here in northern Wyandot Co. since April, the birds other than hummingbirds visiting are there for a drink more than the sugar in the water. My hummingbirds number between 10 and 12 at 2 separate feeders, with a dominate male at each feeder. These numbers are average as far as the numbers in my yard go.
