Hey all - I stumbled upon some rather nice shorebird habitat in Mill Stream Run Reservation today. The location is a wetland off West 130th Street, but it is not not very accessible and very hard to find if you're not intimately familiar with the area, so I won't go into detail about that here. But today these birds were present: Greater Yellowlegs 1 Lesser Yellowlegs 3 Least Sandpiper 3 Solitary Sandpiper 5 Killdeer 40 The Key Bank marsh mudflats were covered by the recent rain, but the water is again receding and they should be good in a couple days. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Got a little couch potato?
