Initially the Little Blue Heron was on the mud bar midway between the boardwalk and the osprey platform. Sometime while I was watching shorebirds, it was displaced by a Great Egret and a Great Blue Heron. I couldn't relocate it in the immediate vicinity. Water levels are up a bit, which pushed the shorebirds closer to the boardwalk. I saw nothing unusual and did not check the northeastern shore for the Willet.
