Sunday, August 5, 2007 Pipe Creek Wildlife Area, Sandusky, Erie County Observers: Jim Haw, Sandy Schacht, Ryan Smith Sandy Schacht, Ryan Smith and I were in your area today. We had one good bird--a Marbled Godwit at Pipe Creek. When you come to the beginning of the loop around Pipe Creek impoundments, go right and the bird was in the first impoundment, along the edge opposite the lakeside dike and at times a bit hard to spot--especially when it went to sleep in early afternoon among a group of Mallards; it blended in surprisingly well. Feel free to post this bird if you wish. Jim Haw Fort Wayne, IN _________________________________________________________________ Tease your brain--play Clink!
