Buff-breasted Sandpiper: Paul Gardner and Jeff Grabmeier had a very early bird on the northeastern shore of Hoover Reservoir Nature Preserve, Delaware County, on the 28th. It has not been reported since. Laughing Gull: One was loafing with other gulls and Caspian terns on the 28th at the northeastern shore of Hoover Reservoir Nature Preserve, Delaware County. It was not relocated on the 31st. Both reports by Paul Gardner. EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE: David Horn had a fly-by on Rt. 23 about a mile south of South Bloomfield, Pickawy County, on the 31st that suggested this bird. In other states, populations of Eurasian collared-doves have expanded like brush-fires after initial colonization. If you want to find your own review-list Ohio bird, this species offers an excellent chance. - End Transcript Paul Gardner Columbus, OH ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
