What a great morning for birding while working in the yard. We were treated with a flock of cedar waxwings (@15) feeding in the wild cherry trees. The upper deck feeders were covered with gold finches, the usual cardinals and occasional RB & WB nuthatches. Unfortunately a Nashville warbler was found on the lower deck. Although I've tried bird shapes on the windows to avoid accidental collisions with the glass, I'm curious if anyone could suggest an alternative solution. Last week we found another warbler that apparently died after hitting the same window so I'm open for suggestions. As for RB nuthatches. we've had them here off and on for well over a month. ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
