Good Morning, just a quick note from the Lake Erie Islands. Summer must be winding down. This AM I had a Canada Warbler resting and eating in our trumpet vine. He stayed for about 1/2 hour before moving on. During the week we had a Blackpoll Warbler, male and all alone. We have been setting a small plate of sunflower seeds on our back porch near our table, and the chickadees and titmice have become very used to having breakfast with us. But we also have a hummer feeder close by and the male hummer is definitely territorial when he is there to feed. This morning at the sunflowers was a red breasted nuthatch. We have several white breasted but this was our first red. Did not seem afraid because we were close by. Will try to snap a pic. Mary Krejci Catawba Island --------------------------------- Fussy?
