I was quite surprised to find many robins in the yard today. I'm not
sure what they're eating but there must have been at least 20
scattered about the lawn. Our thistle feeders are still full of
goldfinches. At least two RB nuthatches continue to frequent the
feeder especially first thing in the morning as I'm filling them.
Today I noticed a red bellied woodpecker checking out a rather large
hole in a tree near the creek. With the change in temperature, I've
also noticed more birds are coming to the fountain and bathing in the
dripping water. I haven't detected any warblers for the last few
days. I wonder if the change in temperatures have also pushed them
further south.

Happy birding.
