Hello! After noticing a lot of activity at my feeders at home, I decided to hike the pet trail at Highbanks this afternoon from ~3 to 4:30 PM where the birds were just as active. The three most numerous species seen were Robins (150+), White-Throated Sparrows (75+), and Yellow-Rumped Warblers (75+). Other birds seen and/or heard included the following: Orange-Crowned Warbler-great looks at 1 in and out of the Goldenrod near the water fountain Palm Warbler-mixed in with a flock of Yellow-Rumpeds Tennessee Warbler-mixed in with another flock of Yellow-Rumpeds Ruby-Crowned Kinglet-4 Golden-Crowned Kinglet-3 Fox Sparrow White-Crowned Sparrow Swamp Sparrow-2 Song Sparrow-15 Field Sparrow-6+ House Wren-2 Carolina Wren-3 Cedar Waxwing-5 Northern Flicker-6 Eastern Towhee-4 Downy, Hairy, and Red-Bellied Woodpeckers Chickadees, Goldfinches, Titmice, Cardinals.
