Northern Goshawk: Bruce Glick reported one migrating over the Toledo area on the 24th. On the 22nd Jay Lehman found one in the southeast corner of Rocky Fork State Park, Highland County. Black-legged Kittiwake: John Pogacnik reported a juvenile flew by his Lake County home on the 20th. Northern Shrike: The Black Swamp Bird Observatory banded one at Ottawa NWR on the 22nd. Leconte's Sparrow: Bret McCarty got his life bird at Mentor Marsh, Lake County, on the 20th. Presumably this is the same bird reported in prior weeks from Wake Robin Trail. Numerous people successfully chased the flock at Funk Wildlife Area, Wayne County, from the 20th to the 22nd. John Habiq found one bird from the observation blind at Acton Lake, Preble County, on the 23rd.
