A single LECONTE'S SPARROW is still at Funk as of today. Also, I had 1 extremely uncooperative NELSON'S SHARP-TAILED SPARROW that after a long pursuit I caught a glimpse of but more importantly heard call. These birds are in the same area that the LeConte's have been seen in the past while. Just a quick note: it is very flooded now with the rain we have been having. If you plan to go after the birds you will need a pair of high rubber boots to get to them (especially the sharp-tail who seemed to prefer the wetter areas of the grass.) Also noteworthy was a single flock of 40+ SANDHILL CRANES. Good Birding, Ryan Steiner __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
