A winter adult Lesser Black-backed Gull was present today from 4PM till when I left at 6PM. It was resting and preening in the rain with 4 other gull species: Great Black-backed, Herring, Ring-billed, and Bonaparte's.(Photos taken). Other species of note today: Sora, Snipe, Pectoral Sandpiper, Killdeer,Black-crowned Night-Heron,Green-winged Teal, Coot, American Widgeon,Black Duck,and Rusty Blackbirds.
