Yesterday (Sat 11/24) Columbus Audubon had a field trip to Greenlawn Cemetery in southwest Columbus. Best bird of the morning was Pine Siskin. A flock of 20+ was found in an evergreen east of section marker 58. They were skittish but intent on eating, and we were able to watch them for at least 10-15 minutes before they took off. Best mammal of the morning was Coyote. A couple started howling in the fields/woods near the entrance when some emergency vehicles with blaring sirens went by. No sign of the Merlin unfortunately.
