Hello all, Birded around some of the duck habitat this morning in Paulding County and came up with a few species. No terribly huge numbers on any species yet (except Canada Goose) but the number of Ruddies and Scaup are increasing. Not seen today but present also this week has been Northern Shoveler, Gadwall, and a lone female Wood Duck. The best surprise of this morning was a flyover pair of Rough-legged Hawks at the Nature Center pond. A full list of species is provided below. A note to any in the area who may be out birding today – be forewarned as to the presence of several duck hunters on the south side of the Paulding Reservoir. Best of luck to you all and happy birding!
