I had an adult male WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL at my feeders in North Perry, Lake County this morning. The bird was present off and on from about 8:30-10:00, but hasn't been seen since. I have had few birds since a sharpie buzzed through. It has been a great morning at the feeders with 3 common redpolls, 5 pine siskins, 1 fox sparrow, 1 brown creeper, and at least 5 red-breasted nuthatches being seen. It's looking like a great winter for feeders. I've posted a shot of the crossbill at: http://www.rarebird.org/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=2504&PID=7339#7339 John Pogacnik 4765 Lockwood Road Perry, OH 44081 440-259-2751 ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
