Greetings---today 1/10 I looked around at Mosquito L/WA, Grand River WA, and Middlefield Twp. (Geauga Co.). Mosquito had 2 snow geese (white), pintails, ring-necked ducks, common and hooded mergansers, great blue heron, and 6 bald eagles. I didn't see the shrike at GRWA, but there was a sharp-shinned hawk and e. bluebirds as a consolation. Middlefield held 2 rough-legged hawks (light and dark), 2 n. harriers, Am. kestrel, and horned larks. Red-shouldered hawks outnumbered red-tails today. Here in Mahoning Co., I've found at least 5 kestrels in Coitsville Twp. lately. Craig in Lowellville --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
