Greetings---I'm having good luck along the Struthers portion of the Mahoning River the last few days. Today I saw and heard: 400 Canada geese, ring-necked duck, buffleheads, c. goldeneyes, 27 hooded mergansers, wild turkeys, turkey vulture, belted kingfisher, n. flicker, e. bluebirds, Am. robin, and Am. goldfinches. It's very encouraging to see wildlife increasing along the Mahoning R. corridor downstream of Youngstown over the last few years.
