In a brief stop at the Castalia Duck Pond this afternoon, I saw 12 species of waterfowl: Canada Goose Gadwall American Wigeon American Black Duck Mallard Northern Shoveler Northern Pintail (one drake) Canvasback Redhead Ring-necked Duck (one individual) Lesser Scaup (one individual) Bufflehead One Canada Goose was strangely marked. It looked like it had two oval-shaped white "eyebrows" that were about as wide as its eye, but maybe three times as wide. **************Ideas to please picky eaters. Watch video on AOL Living.
