In a brief stop at the Castalia Duck Pond this afternoon, I saw 12 species
of waterfowl:

Canada Goose
Gadwall
American Wigeon
American Black Duck
Mallard
Northern Shoveler
Northern Pintail (one drake)
Canvasback
Redhead
Ring-necked Duck (one individual)
Lesser Scaup (one individual)
Bufflehead

One Canada Goose was strangely marked. It looked like it had two
oval-shaped white "eyebrows" that were about as wide as its eye, but maybe three times
as wide.
