Hi, Birders!

My yard sure has been busy lately!!

Last week I had a Song Sparrow, the first I've seen since about October. Have had 2 Common Redpolls last week and this weekend, too. And my Carolina Wren keeps hanging around, to my delight. Today it was on my deck, and I saw it take a couple seeds, then dart into our shed, which is attached to the deck on one side. The screen is torn on the window, so the wren went in there and I watched it eat the seeds there, out of the wind. Smart bird!

Also have, as always, lots and lots of woodpeckers, especially downies. Maybe it's the 6 suet feeders?

  Best,
  Lyn Miller
  Geauga County
