Dave Dyer and I got out for some birding this morning, it was a cold 17deg. at 8am. The Song Sparrrows are really picking up in their singing now...

Along with the expected species this morning...our best bird was a Brown Thrasher, on the backside of Ross Lake- which is just East of Chillicothe. I stopped there to try a Screech Owl call...and he came bounding up to check it out! A nice surprise..wonder if he spent the winter with us...
