This is a reminder that registration is still open for the March 12, 2008 Wildlife Diversity Conference to be held in Columbus. This year's theme is "Back in Black." Presentations specific to Ohio birds will include a program on double-crested cormorants. Come and hear the REAL story about these birds and their effect on habitat. Another talk will feature information about black vultures. If you have attended any of the diversity conferences in the recent past you already know that a lot of planning goes into the programs to make them entertaining AND informative. If you aren't already convinced this is an event to attend, here's another reason. All attendees of the conference will receive the brand new, just out, Warblers of Ohio and Eastern North America CD and booklet! This warbler CD and booklet is another in a series of informative guides the Ohio Division of Wildlife has produced over the past several years including Common Birds, Owls and Waterbirds of Ohio. Attend the conference and be one of the first to get the latest in the series, literally "hot off the press." We hope you'll join us for a great day! Hope to see you there-please say hello if you see me!
