All, Excellent diversity at the Beaver Pond this morning: Hooded Merganser Wood Duck (20 +) Horned Grebe (14) Ring-necked Duck Lesser Scaup American Coot Ruddy Duck Blue Winged Teal Mallard Canada Goose Great Blue Heron Red Winged Blackbird American Crow Turkey Vulture Common Grackle Red-tailed Hawk Blue Jay The resident Barnyard Goose was attempting to mate with a Canada Goose, will be interesting to see if a hybrid is produced. The Bath Road Heron Rookery was busy with activity. It looks very full like last year.
