Greetings... There was one Henslow's Sparrow and two Bobolinks at the Voice of America Park last evening in West Chester, Butler County. Also twenty-plus Eastern Meadowlarks and five Savannah Sparrows. Each year we realize this could possibly be the end, but the grassland birds seem to be finding their way back this spring to this odd bit of grass surrounded by development. It's a hopeful start. Perhaps the new IKEA will draw more birders. I imagine they have a special section devoted to nothing but fagelguidens. Take care, ---Mike Busam Butler County, OH ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
