Hey all - Highlight at West Creek Reservation (Cuy Co) this morning was a cooperative WORM-EATING WARBLER. It was along the ridge trail and I observed it for probably 20 minutes. It fed exclusively in grapevine tangles, moving from one to the next and picking at clusters of dry leaves. It fed on the ground several times and was never more 20 feet off the ground. A nice overflight surprise... Overall, it was birdier than yesterday - the front must have moved some birds overnight. Two Louisiana Waterthrushes were present, along with a Blue-headed Vireo and the year's first House Wren. Six Winter Wrens was a good count. Good birding - Gabe Leidy Cleveland ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
