The Caesar Creek beach is constantly changing. This morning the Willets which Rick Asamoto reporterd were gone but there were two Caspian Terns and while watching them a small white egret with a light tan head appeared, a CATTLE EGRET. I thought it strange it was on the beach but it quickly ran over to the grass where it was feeding furiously. I think this is a first for Caesar Creek. The 28 Ring-billed Gulls are doing their job of attracting migrants. For a while there was also a Cormorant resting on the beach.

Happy Birder Cheers, Larry Gara
