I had a few new arrivals today that I wanted to report. I woke up this morning to two new birds, a Woodthrush and a Red eyed Vireo. This afternoon, I came home and heard a House Wren in the yard, the first in the two years that we have owned our house. Finally, we went for a walk on the Hocking River Bike path and I heard numerous Yellow Warblers. I also saw a pair of Cliff Swallows. If anyone ever wants to see Cliff Swallows, they can be easily seen under the Stimson Avenue Bridge in Athens. A Spotted Sandpiper was working some mudflats near the bridge too. Dan Weber Athens, OH p.s. I am going backpacking/birding in Southern Utah at the end of June. If anyone has any useful information for me, please email me directly. _________________________________________________________________ Back to work after baby–how do you know when you’re ready? http://lifestyle.msn.com/familyandparenting/articleNW.aspx?cp-documentid=5797498&ocid=T067MSN40A0701A ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
