Greetings,

I got a chance to go out with my family and do some hiking with some birding thrown in for good measure. Siebenthaler Fen (Greene County) was short-lived, as I got called away, but there was a particularly gracious Common Yellowthroat who posed nicely for some photographs. Possum Creek (Montgomery County) had a pleasant surprise as a single Spotted Sandpiper was skulking along the rocks, stopping only for about a total of a minute. Too bad I was shooting black and white film with a 35-70mm lens, at the time. We'll see how those came out. :)

Peace,
Phil
