For the person tracking RB Nuthatches, we saw a single bird on Saturday at Crane Creek along the boardwalk. It was so unexpected that everyone looking at it kept saying "what is it?" -----Original Message----- From: Ohio birds [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Pam Unger Sent: Sunday, May 11, 2008 11:49 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [Ohio-birds] Red-breasted nuthatch still in Columbus? Although I haven't seen the pair of red-breasted nuthatches at my frontyard feeder since April, when I was working in the back yard today I several times heard the unmistakeable tin horn call. Too many leaves for a sighting. I'm hoping the pair is still around and nesting, but the series of storms may have blown in a straggler. Good birding! Pam Unger I get up. I walk. I fall down. Meanwhile, I keep dancing. --Rabbi Hillel ____________________________________________________________________________ ________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
