Hi all, I visited Highbanks this morning (0700-1000) and found it was very birdy. I had 11 SUMMER TANAGERS (7 males, 3 females, 1 unid.); they were spread throughout the park, either pituckytucking or singing. I had 5 birds flying and chasing each other at the beginning of the pet trail. There were 20 species of warbler: Tennessee Warbler Northern Parula Yellow Warbler Chestnut-sided Warbler Magnolia Warbler Black-throated Blue Warbler Black-throated Green Warbler Blackburnian Warbler Yellow-throated Warbler Blackpoll Warbler Black-and-white Warbler American Redstart Ovenbird Louisiana Waterthrush Kentucky Warbler Mourning Warbler- 1, near the Mansion Shelter Area Common Yellowthroat Hooded Warbler Canada Warbler Yellow-breasted Chat Good birding, Sean -- Sean Williams Ohio Wesleyan University(attending from Boston) Delaware, OH [log in to unmask] ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
