I apologize for a second post today, but in the evening Jason Krnc and I headed to Big Island at 1745-1945. We had the following highlights: American Bittern- 1 Common Moorhen- 6, with coots, though I think there were less coots than moorhens! I guess you could say the coots were with the moorhens in that case. Sora- 3 King Rail- 2, calling back and forth to each other White-rumped Sandpiper- 2, not actually in Big Island I think I like Google's map-making tool, so here's another map of the locations. If anyone has any objection to it, I can certainly revert to describing the places. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&t=h&layer=t&msa=0&msid=111541981737930463917.00044df0c648febb04cdf&ll=40.560504,-83.249931&spn=0.065207,0.160675&z=13 Good birding, Sean -- Sean Williams Ohio Wesleyan University(attending from Boston) Delaware, OH [log in to unmask] ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
