For the third time I've had a pair of crows and what appears to be a Coopers hawk get into a cat and mouse game in my yard. For the first occurrence, when I walked out into the yard all three birds were sitting in the same tree, practically next to each other. Then the hawk would chase the crow repeatedly. They'll make several runs. The same thing happened this morning. It's not like the hawk does a quick bolt and all fly away. They land in a tree close to each other and make several more passes. All in my yard. Anyone else ever observe this behavior or have any insight as to the reason for this? Have a great holiday.
