I decided to get some birding in today before work, so I stopped at
Whetstone Park in the Clintonville neighborhood of Columbus. I first birded
the ravine and then the area near the casting pond. Not a whole lot going
on, with only one warbler (American Redstart). Highlights included:

1 Olive-sided Flycatcher at the junction of bike trail with the path leading
west from the casting pond, got excellent views of the bird as it sallied
forth from a perch high in a tree to catch insects

2 Great Crested Flycatchers in the ravine, actively calling to each other

1 Barred Owl, calling at about 7am in the ravine

2 Swainson's Thrushes in the ravine

1 juvenile Cooper's Hawk, harassed by Blue Jays in the Ravine

2 singing Baltimore Orioles

Whetstone Park is located on Hollenback Drive, west of High Street and
between North Broadway and West Henderson.
