West Creek was pretty awesome today...definitely the best birding of the year to this point. 16 warbler and 5 vireo species were observed, and plenty of other migrants to go with them. Highlights: PINE and CERULEAN WARBLERS, and an extremely cooperative parula that I din't have to break my neck to see, as well as a nice group of Purple Finches. Wacky encounters: Solitary Sandpiper at a puddle in the middle of the woods and a Green Heron flushed from the meadow.
