Happy May Day everyone, I was in downtown Cleveland for a meeting this morning, so I gave Erie Street Cemetery a try. Not bad; I had: Brown-headed Cowbird Common Grackle American Robin European Starling Northern Flicker Red-breasted Nuthatch (1 straggler?) Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (1) American Goldfinch Song Sparrow (2-3) Chipping Sparrow (a few) White-throated Sparrow (about 10) White-crowned Sparrow (about 20) Ruby-crowned Kinglet (just a few) Palm Warbler (1- and the only warbler I saw there today) Hermit Thrush (they were moving around, so hard to count, but at least 3-4) Veery (ditto, but Iąd guess only 1 or 2) Best wishes, Steve Cagan Cleveland Heights, Cuyahoga County ----- Steve Cagan, photographer [log in to unmask] 216-932-2753 (US) www.stevecagan.com www.pbase.com/stevecagan stevecagan.blogspot.com ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
