I've had three wood thrushes singing for over a week in three areas nearby. There's a hooded warbler in the woods, but he is high in the canopy, and the leaves grew before he arrived, so I haven't seen him yet. I haven't seen the rose breasted grosbeaks or the white crowned sparrows this week at all. Today I had a quick glimpse of a junco as it flitted off, and last evening our first hummingbird showed up at the feeder. Today both an orchard oriole and a baltimore were singing. Too sweet. best, jay wootten ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
