A team of which I was a member set a new single-day record on Sunday for birds found in Ohio in June--160. Our second bird of the day was the black rail which has been so accommodating for seekers recently. All downhill from there... I wrote up a brief narrative of our trip, including a list of species found, for Greg Links, who is reportedly collecting such documents for a forthcoming web site on Ohio listing. If anyone's interested in seeing a copy, let me know and I'll send one. Otherwise, you can wait till Greg announces the availability of his production, which should be quite interesting. Cheers to all, Bill Whan Columbus ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
