I posted last night about an injured juvenile owl. Thanks for all the responses from everyone especially Terry and Mike. The diagnosis is that it is an eastern screech owl and it has a detached retina as well as a badly bruised wing. The Wildlife Specialist at the Lake Erie Science Center told me that Bo (that's the name my 4 year old daughter gave it) is perching, but has not eaten. Bo is holding its wing in the normal position, but there is still swelling. Hopefully Bo can make a recovery and be released later this week, but only time will tell. Thanks again for the responses.
