Although not intending to be on bird watch patrol today, we couldn't help but notice a female oriole that perched on the feeder this morning here in Wakeman, Lorain County. We seem to be in the middle of a flock of females with a high count of 5 on the 17th of July. Other increases in activity have been noticed among the hummingbirds. We've had a high count of 6 currently dashing between our 6 feeders front and back yard. Final increase has been in titmice. Our high count has also been in the neighborhood of 6 daily. Needless to say, we are happy birders in Wakeman Dorothy & Doug ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
