Hi all,

I journeyed over to the Muskingum County Wood Stork site this morning,
as well-described in an earlier post by Bruce Glick. Upon arrival about
7 am, there they were. All three birds are juveniles, and were foraging
in the small U-shaped pond, very near the road and offering excellent
views. Gabe Hostetler showed up not long after, and we were treated to
wonderful opportunities to watch the birds forage at close range,
catching crayfish and other aquatic organisms. At one point, one of the
birds caught a big sunfish and gagged it down. All three were still
there and happily feeding away at 8 am when I had to leave.
